IT’S NewSHOWREEL TIME
I try to update my showreel every couple of years to include the latest TV work. I have been busy with a few musicals and this summer’s Crucible at The Globe so it was well timed that a couple of good television things came out at around the same time; ‘I Fought the Law’ on ITV with Sheridan Smith and ‘Testament’ which is modern retelling of the Book of Acts, both these parts are a world apart. Oh, I also added the ubiquitous Heinz ad on there too.
VICTORY TO THE MIMERS
Two years after wrapping, the short film I co-wrote with our director James Green called 'Victory To The Mimers' is now streaming online!
It is a bitter-sweet dramedy about the Mimers Strike and a comment on the state of publicly funded arts. It features myself and Lee Ingleby playing my brother and Toto Bruin as my daughter.

After a couple of turns in musicals (Oliver and My Fair Lady) it’s time to get stuck into proper bit of hefty theatre. The Crucible is just that, and I will be playing the Rev Parris, from whose house the whole plot emerges. What makes this production, directed by Ola Ince, so attractive is that it is being staged at The Globe Theatre. This is the first time I have played this exceptional space, not including the quite extraordinary Alternative Miss World for Andrew Logan back in 2022.
We have a first class cast to bring to life this modern classic by Arthur Miller, the first time a modern play has been staged in the main theatre.
We run from May 8th and finish on July 12th. Please click the link above for more details/booking information.
